What's up Wednesday

Wednesday, January 25, 2017

Happy Wednesday! You're halfway through the week, you can do it!! I'm excited to be back and linking up with Shay for What's up Wednesday! This is the perfect way to catch you guys up on our crazy little life!

What we're eating this week...
Monday - Spaghetti with zoodles, well, I had zoodles! Blake had regular pasta.
Tuesday - Baked Chicken with Veggies.
Wednesday - Chuy's!
Thursday - Stir Fry with Chicken
Friday - I don't know yet ;)

What I'm reminiscing about...
At the beginning of January, Blake and I went to Passion Conference in Atlanta, GA and it was incredible! This was our first real trip without Judah and even though we missed him SO much, it was so nice to get away and spend time with one another and 55,000 of our closest friends ;) We were only there for two days and it wasn't long enough! I really want to go back and see more of the sites and eat all the food...ALL of it! haha! I'll do a recap of our trip next week.

What I'm loving...
Life! So cliche but God has been so good to us and I can't help but be joyful for all He has done. Blake is officially in full time ministry, Judah is learning so much and getting sweeter every day, we are so blessed with our community that surrounds us and we are expectant and ready for this sweet season of life. The only thing that would make this all better is if all of our family would move to Austin with us. We're workin' on it ;)

What we've been up to...
Judah turned the big ONE! Read all about that here.
I turned the big 23! haha! Celebrated with good coffee, good friends and pie. What more could a girl want??
My parents came to visit!! Judah clearly loves them :)
Mama had a girls night while these guys hung out! Be still my heart. How handsome are they??
We visited Blake's Grandpa in Houston. He lives on a beautiful golf course and Judah LOVED running around on it.

What I'm dreading...
Does folding the laundry count??

What I'm working on...
Getting a Blog Schedule together so I can get the ball rolling and get back in on the lovely bloggity blog world! Any tips are welcome :)

What I'm excited about...
Our church has been doing 21 days of prayer & fasting and it ends this Saturday. For the fast I gave up carbs/sugar so I'm so excited to eat a tortilla and queso on Sunday! I'm not excited for the fast to end, it has been such a good time of growth in my prayer life, but I am excited to eat a tortilla and queso! haha!

What I'm watching/reading...
Watching-
The Bachelor, of course. I am trying hard to like this season but I have never been a big fan of Nick. I think I will enjoy the season more when Corrine is gone ;) #notafan Also. This is Us. SO GOOD! I also can't wait for Scandal and Greys Anatomy to come back on this Thursday.

Reading-
I have been reading a lot these days! I started this book by Francis Chan and it as been so, so good. I also read this Devotional every morning. I read it a few years ago and recently brought it back out and I love it just as much as I did then.
I also got Shay's cookbook for Christmas and I love to sit down and read through it when I have time!

What I'm listening to...
Right this second? Judah is snoring through the baby monitor and Pioneer Woman is on the TV. Bliss.

What I'm wearing...
Lots of LuLaRoe. No shame here. I am loving all of the uniqueness of their clothes. Also, lots of workout clothes, even though they never get worked out in! haha.

What I'm doing this weekend...
I actually think we have zero plans this weekend! How nice! haha. I'm sure we will find something to do.

What I'm looking forward to next month...
Family visiting, Valentines Day, birthday parties, lots of fun ;)

What else is new...
I think I covered it all!

BONUS QUESTION
Who is your all-time favorite Bachelor?
Oh, this is easy. Sean! I liked Jake's season but Sean takes the cake. I feel like his season was the last "normal" season. Now it's getting a little too trashy for me. #TeamSean

  1. Happy 1st bday to your sweet boy!! They grow up so fast, my girls are 15, 13 and 10 and it seriously seems like yesterday we were chasing after little toddlers....:)

I love Shauna Niequist, "Bread and Wine" is one of my all time fave books! Mix and Match Mama's cookbook is awesome, I gave it to my sister in law and read through it before Christmas, loved it!

  2. I'm not a huge fan of Nick or the girls this season! I'm definitely not as motivated to watch it as usual. Your little boy is SO cute!
