I can't believe my baby is already a month old. Cue the momma tears. This first month has been a great one. You can read more about that and see some fun pictures of my little guy here.
I thought it would be fun to share with y'all our monthly favorites up until Judah turns one! It's a great idea to help other new momma's out and I think it will be fun to look back on once he's older and helpful for his future (very future) siblings!
1. Summer Infant Swaddle Me Co-Sleeper - THIS! I had pretty bad postpartum anxiety about Judah and him sleeping. I was so scared that I wouldn't be able to hear him cry or spit up, etc. while sleeping. We had originally planned on him sleeping in his pack-n-play in our room until we decided to move him to his crib but that happened about 2 times. haha! The whole first week he slept either in my arms or Blake's...and we did that in shifts...SHIFTS. I told y'all my anxiety was bad. We got this a couple of weeks ago and it made me feel so much better knowing he was right next to me but also safe and protected from us rolling over on him. It travels so well too. It was much easier to fit this in our car than a pack-n-play! I could talk this thing up forever, but I'll just let y'all try it out yourselves :)
2. Munchkin Warm Glow Baby Wipe Warmer - This is one thing I thought about registering for but then thought "no, we won't need that". I was wrong! We found out really fast that Judah did not like those cold wipes on his hiney. One trip to Target and now our boy doesn't mind his diaper being changed one bit! It made a huge difference for us.
3. Boon Grass, Stem & Twig Drying Set - We love our Boon Grass! We have this set and it is perfect for us. It holds a ton of bottles and parts that go to the lovely(not) breast pump. It makes washing bottles more fun and looks super cute sitting out on your counter!
4. WubbaNub - Oh, WubbaNub, we love you. I had originally planned on not giving Judah a pacifier. I had heard to many things about it making it harder for you to breastfeed your baby, how it's not a proper way to soothe your baby, they get so attached to it, etc. But we had been gifted a WubbaNub and tried it one day and never looked back. Judah loves his WubbaNub and that's okay with us :) He was gifted a Longhorn WubbaNub and so that is what we used for the first week, but since we are Aggies, we had to go get a different one for Judah :) #sawvarsityshornsoff
5. Infantino Carrier Flip 4in1 - Blake could not wait to use this! It has been so helpful for when we don't want to worry about taking the stroller with us. I haven't tried it out yet but Blake has and he loves it and Judah does too! Some of our friends recommended it to us and we are so, so glad we got it!
What are some things you really relied on with your kiddos? We would love the advice!
I hope you have the very best weekend!
