I can't believe it has already been a month since the doctors laid Judah on my chest. I think I will probably be saying that every month/year for the rest of his life. Everyone tells you that it goes by so fast, and wow, it really does. I wish I could slow down time!
At one month, Judah...
...weighs 8lbs 12oz
...is 22 inches long

...is still wearing some newborn clothes with a few 0-3 month onesies and jammies thrown into the mix. :)
...is going through his last box of newborn diapers then we will move him up to 1's.
...is becoming such a little chub in his face, cheeks and his belly is slowly getting bigger. #ilovethechub
...sleeps a lot still during the day. For a couple of hours in the morning and late afternoon/evening he is awake and such a happy boy! He has also been sleeping through the night a couple of times!
...loves sleeping in Momma and Daddy's arms or curled up on our chest.
...hates to be swaddled and isn't a big fan of having blankets cover up his legs because he just wants to kick and kick!
...is feeding every 2-3 hours during the day and every 4 hours at night. He also held his own bottle for the first time this month! Not a regular thing but it sure was cute. :)
...loves his swing!
...sleeps with his hands straight up in the air sometimes. We call it his "praise hands" :)
...has lots of nicknames. Momma calls him "bubbas", Daddy calls him "buddy", and everyone else calls him BoBo, JB, and J Beau.
...loves his carseat and car rides! He doesn't make a peep and is usually asleep within minutes of being in the car.
...has crazy good head/neck strength. He has been holding his little head up since the doctors laid him on my chest. :)
...looked like Momma's twin whenever he was born, but I think he is looking more and more like Daddy every day!
...loves his hair being washed and brushed, but hates his body being washed.
...has a best friend and his name is Luke the Lion, his WubbaNub. He snuggles with him when he sleeps.
...is still co-sleeping and we all love it. :)

...eyes are still dark, but they look like they may turn green or blue!
...is starting to lose some hair on the top of his head, and his hair is still dark and kind of red in the sunlight.

...has blonde eyebrows, so we are hoping his hair will be blonde too. :)
...loves to smile in his sleep. :)
...has gone on his first road trip to see family and he was a champ!

...is by far the biggest blessing to Blake and I. We love him more than we ever thought we could.
